Romney C. Andersen, MD, AAOS Fellow, ABOS Board Certified. Dr. Andersen is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with more than 17 years of experience managing orthopaedic trauma patients.

His areas of specialty include severe extremity injuries, compartment syndrome, amputations, crush injuries, blast injuries, explosive injuries, gunshot wounds, fracture care, osteoporosis, industrial & work place injuries.

Dr. Andersen is the Chief of Orthopaedics for the Riverside Health System and is a practicing orthopaedic trauma surgeon. 

​

He is a Professor of Surgery at both the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Uniformed Services University. 

He has published numerous articles and spoke at local, national & international meetings on the area's he is an expert in.  

Formally he was the Chairman of Orthopaedics at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. 

Dr. Andersen has authored several expert opinions which have been of extremely valuable to the counsel that retained him. 

He is very timely and responsive to counsel he is working with.
